At the forefront of design innovation in the hospitality industry, Laurie Woliung serves as the Senior Director of Design at Marriott International. In this role, she leads the charge in shaping the aesthetic and functional direction of Marriott’s Distinctive Select Brands, AC, Aloft, Element, and Moxy Hotels,  elevating them to the forefront in the Lifestyle Upscale market. During her previous tenure with  Marriott Laurie led the internal Interior Design and Architecture team for full service Premium and Luxury project work. Laurie’s visionary leadership extends beyond design; her passion was a driving  force behind the inception of the Marriott Global Design Sustainability Council, aligning with Marriott’s  Serve 360 mission. With more than two decades of engagement with NEWH, The Hospitality Industry  Network, reflects her unwavering commitment to nurturing talent, promoting sustainability as the  current Green Voice Chair Washington DC Chapter, and advancing excellence in the hospitality industry.
