Scott Hammons is the President of Ground LVL, a hospitality-focused project management firm specializing in value-add renovations, repositioning’s, and brand conversions.

With nearly 30 years of experience across ownership, operations, and development, Scott brings an owner’s mindset and asset manager’s discipline to every project—focused on maximizing ROI, optimizing capital deployment, and minimizing operational disruption.

Prior to Ground LVL, Scott led Design & Construction for DiamondRock Hospitality, overseeing a national portfolio of complex renovations and strategic repositioning’s tied to value-add acquisition and up-branding strategies. He has also held leadership roles with RLJ Lodging Trust, and Hilton Worldwide and speaks fondly of landmark projects with Waldorf Astoria New York, New York Hilton Midtown, Washington Hilton, and the famed Gramercy Park Hotel.

Scott’s portfolio includes luxury and upper-upscale assets across Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, and independent platforms, with project experience ranging from targeted ROI-driven upgrades to full-scale renovations and soft-brand conversions exceeding $75M.

Known for aligning design, programming, and capital strategy, Scott helps owners unlock asset value while enhancing guest experience and long-term performance.
