Nick DiMaio

Nick DiMaio is Vice President of Capital Planning and Project Management – Peregrine Select at Peregrine Hospitality, where he leads capital planning, renovation strategy, and project management across the company’s portfolio of 36 select-service and boutique hotels. With more than 15 years of experience in hospitality design, construction, capital planning, and asset management, he specializes in aligning capital investments with operational goals to enhance guest experiences, improve asset performance, and maximize long-term value.

Before joining Peregrine Hospitality, Nick founded NJD Consulting, LLC, advising hotel owners and investors on capital planning, budgeting, and project execution while managing more than $150 million in renovation, new-build, and capital improvement projects. He previously spent nearly a decade with HEI Hotels & Resorts, where he advanced to Vice President of Design & Construction and oversaw more than $85 million in hospitality projects.

A graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, Nick brings a strategic perspective on capital investment, asset value enhancement, and the intersection of design, operations, and financial performance.
