Bill Masefield, FMP, SFP is Vice President of Engineering for Aimbridge Hospitality, the world’s largest third-party hotel management company, where he leads engineering strategy, operational standards, preventive maintenance programs, life-safety compliance initiatives, and asset protection efforts across a diverse portfolio of hotels.
With more than 15 years of leadership experience in hospitality, facilities management, construction, and asset operations, Bill has built a reputation for driving operational excellence, improving asset performance, and developing high-performing engineering teams. Prior to joining Aimbridge Hospitality, he served as Director of Facilities, Campus, and Construction Services for Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont, overseeing facilities operations, construction projects, energy management initiatives, and maintenance programs across a multi-site portfolio of retail, warehouse, and administrative facilities.
Throughout his career, Bill has successfully led large-scale capital projects, implemented enterprise maintenance and asset management programs, improved operational efficiency, reduced costs through energy conservation initiatives, and developed standardized preventive maintenance and compliance frameworks that strengthen organizational performance. His leadership philosophy centers on building capable teams, creating repeatable processes, and protecting assets through disciplined engineering execution.
A Facilities Management Professional (FMP) and Sustainability Facility Professional (SFP), Bill is passionate about the intersection of hospitality operations, engineering innovation, asset stewardship, sustainability, and workforce development. He regularly collaborates with ownership groups, hotel operators, and industry partners to elevate engineering standards and improve the guest experience through reliable, data-driven facility operations.
