Chuck Engelhardt is a 36-year hotel industry veteran. He started his career as a MIT with Hyatt Hotel Corporation, and after successfully completing the program was promoted to be a member of the Hyatt corporate opening team. He went on to spend over a decade with Promus Hotels. Upon Hilton’s purchase of Promus, he became Vice President of Global Technical Services. His business units at Hilton included Quality Assurance, PIPs, Interior Design, Managed Construction, Guest Assistance, Suppliers Corner, and Brand Standards.

After leaving Hilton he served 10 years as Senior Vice President of Design and Construction for Chatham Lodging Trust. He now serves as Senior Vice President of Design and Construction for B&B Hotels, the largest independent hotel company in Europe with over 750 hotels. He is currently assisting B&B with introducing the brand to the US. Chuck has served on the Marriott C.A.P.E. committee, Hilton P.A.C. council, and AHLA Sustainability committee. He is a leader in green building techniques and construction management.
