Stuart Greif brings 30+ years of global experience focused at the intersection of travel & hospitality, customer experience, and technology to Forbes Travel Guide, where he drives strategy, innovation and operations. Stuart previously served as Microsoft’s Global Executive for Travel & Hospitality, J.D. Power’s Global Travel Practice Leader and Global Travel Leader for unicorn start-up Amperity, backed by early Amazon, Facebook and LinkedIn investors. Stuart plays a leading role in innovation across the industry globally, partnering with start-ups, corporates, venture and private equity. Stuart is a dynamic, sought after industry speaker, delivering keynotes, speaking on panels, and appearing in media as an industry expert, including CNBC Squawk on the Street, WSJ, New York Times, CNN, BBC and other global press as well as industry and trade media such as Skift, Phocuswire, and HNN among others over the years. His thought leadership—on guest experience, social commerce, AI, and Innovation- has been published via industry trade and highly regarded academic institutions, including Cornell’s Center for Hospitality Research. Stuart formerly served on the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council for Responsible Tourism and the board for the Boutique Lifestyle Lodging Association. He currently sits on several hospitality and travel boards. Stuart has been recognized as one of the ‘50 Most Inspiring’ and ‘100 Most Influential’ travel leaders globally by the International Hospitality Institute. He has also been recognized globally for his advocacy and allyship for women and diversity. Stuart started his career at Accenture (Andersen Consulting) and holds a M.B.A. from The Darden School of Business at The University of Virginia. He and his family reside in the San Francisco Bay Area.
